Dr. Todd Robinson is an executive leadership consultant and former superintendent with over 36 years of dedicated service in education and leadership. Grounded in a servant-leader philosophy and proven collaborative strategies, Dr. Robinson partners with educational executives, school boards, building administrators and organizational leaders to drive transformational growth, cultivate high-trust cultures, and execute long-term strategic visions.

Throughout his 11-year tenure as Superintendent across two school districts—most recently leading Romeo Community Schools and previously New Haven Community Schools—Dr. Robinson spearheaded major organizational innovations. His strategic oversight encompasses successfully passing multi-million-dollar bond campaigns, guiding complex restructuring efforts, and managing wide-scale educational transformations. Prior to his executive roles, he spent 15 years as a building principal and began his career as an educator and coach in the Avondale School District.

Background & Credentials

Dr. Robinson holds a Doctorate of Organizational Leadership (Ed.D.) and a Master of Arts (M.A.) from Oakland University, as well as a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from Central Michigan University. A proud U.S. Army veteran, he served eight years as an officer, including deployment during Operation Desert Shield/Storm—an experience that instilled the disciplined, adaptable and people-centered leadership he brings to consulting. He has actively served on executive boards including the Macomb County Association of School Administrators (Past President), the K12 Alliance Executive Board, and the Northern Macomb Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Todd and his wife, Shelly, reside in Macomb Township and have two adult children—a son, Mitch, and a daughter, Kennedi, who is an elementary teacher.
